Many students including our own staff feel as if the interpretation/ speech community are often misrepresented when it comes to many aspects. Though our organization focuses on advocating for the speech community, much like the wire in a light bulb, it's our job to to be the conduit between the speech community and the debate community. Our goal is to understand the differences and similarities of both in order to create a better experience for each competitor and to combat injustices overall. As our world continues to evolve and become a more empowering place, we put our communities first no matter race, gender, religion, sexuality, class or nuerotypicality. About the Blog

We will be accepting stories and student written articles about issues involving both communities in Speech and Debate. This can be about judge training, harassment, advice or even a personal experience at a specific tournament or camp. Remember this is a safe space. If you would like to submit please email us! We will a be looking for other writers/interns to add to our board in the future. Interviews and submissions will be coming out soon!
